Kara Griffin has always loved reading romances, especially historicals. As a kid, she had an outrageous imagination, and might have even had an imaginary friend (shhh, don't tell anyone). It's no wonder she loves writing romantic stories.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Kara grew up with four bullying brothers. Being from a big city, she met a lot of people and got to enjoy the hustle and bustle. Now she lives in the quiet suburbs with her husband of 20 years and their three daughters.
Kara has very limited activities she enjoys, mainly because every spare minute is spent writing. Whenever she grabs her laptop, the pets come a-running to cuddle (Tito, a poma-poo puppy, Nikki, a kitten with enough spunk to rival any cat, and her giant cat, Chillie, who she calls...Mr. Licker because he thinks he's a dog).
